Systemic Architecture was founded in 2013 in Calgary, Alberta.  Founding principal Jamie Clark was joined by Chad Russill as a partner in 2015, based on a friendship and working relationship dating back to 2007.

We operate as Systemic Architecture Inc. in the province of Alberta, and Systemic Architecture Ltd. in the province of British Columbia.

 

Our approach to architecture balances creativity with a structured work process. We believe that technical expertise should be brought to bear in a project at the earliest stage to inform the design. 

 

Conversely, initial design intent should be visible in the final product.  In order to achieve this, our firm is structured to ensure that both design and production personnel participate actively and equally throughout the project in its entirety.
